Thank you for your interest in Melissa Jean Photography & Design — I would be honored to create something beautiful and timeless with you.
Your session includes a personalized consultation with styling guidance, a custom portrait experience held either on-location or at my studio in Oswego, Illinois, and a private viewing and ordering appointment where you’ll see a curated collection of 40+ finished images to choose from.
Your viewing session will be scheduled within two weeks of your portrait session to ensure your images are beautifully prepared and ready to enjoy.

ABOUT OUR SESSIONS
*All session fees are due at the time of booking your session, and do not cover the cost of prints, products or digital files.
PORTRAIT SESSION FEE $195
Portrait sessions include up to 4 family members.
($25 for each additional person)
EXTENDED FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION FEE $275
Extended family sessions are perfect for family gatherings or during the holidays when all of your family has the opportunity to get together. These sessions require a larger space and are usually taken outdoors or a planned location. Includes 6 poses (ie: full family portrait, portrait of each individual family, mom and dad with grandkids, etc...)
(Price includes up to 4 families. For each additional family add $75)
HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION $225
Includes 3-4 outfit changes, and up to 2 locations. We also offer split sessions. (An example of a split session is for instance half the session in the Spring and one in the Fall.)
BUSINESS HEADSHOTS
Looking to update your business headshots, linked in profile or your social media accounts? I'd love to help you capture the look you're going for! Choose the collection that's best for you.
LUXE $275
- 30-45 minute session
- Several Outfit Changes & Backgrounds
- 3 Retouched Images
- Portraits can be taken in-studio and outdoors to offer a nice variety to choose from.
BASIC $195
- 15-20 minute session (in-studio or other location)
- 1 Retouched Digital Image
ENGAGEMENT SESSION FEE $225
(Engagement Sessions are complimentary with the purchase of our Emerald or Diamond Wedding Collections.)
Portrait collections begin at $550 and include options for digital only and digital with print options. You will have the ability to add or customize a collection at the time we meet for the in-person viewing and ordering session.
We also offer many additional product options including custom framing, gallery wrapped canvas and metal prints.
